Bomb Threat
Threat by telephone:
- Do not hang up. Remain calm.
- Take caller seriously. Assume the threat is real.
- If you have caller-ID, write down the caller’s number.
- Ask questions using the checklist below as a guide.
- Do not use cell phone, two-way radio, or any wireless communication device, as it may trigger the bomb.
- Have a co-worker call DPS at 541-346-6666 on another line, or call DPS yourself immediately after hanging up.
