The University of Oregon's Emergency Management & Continuity Program (UOEMC) is an integrated program that addresses the four major elements of emergency management: preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.  The program has established objectives that provide a comprehensive, cost-effective, and integrated approach to enhance disaster safety and establish long-term risk- and loss-reduction strategies. Through developing, maintaining, and updating a comprehensive suite of emergency management plans, UOEMC actively works to improve and expand university’s overall disaster resilience.
